I have had a blast this season and would like to personally thank each of the amazing families I have worked with this holiday! I wish the very best to each of you and hope your Christmas is filled with Joy, laughter, and most of all love.

WOW!
I am going to just say I AM SORRY! It has been so long since I have been on here, and there really isn't any excuse! and unfortunately this isn't going to be a long one either...
Lots of things have happened at Natures Backdrop since the last post, the Studio is now up and running...still a work in progress, but definately a useable space :)
I have created and bagan using Memory Maker cards....ask me if you are interested in more info.
Ive been so super busy, and that makes me so happy! I will post photos soon! just have to finish getting the computer set up at the studio!

TRICK OR TREAT!
That's right its almost Halloween, and whats more fun than playing dress up!?
Torrington Main Street will be having their annual safe kids trick or treating Friday October 29 starting at 4pm. I will be set up at First Baptist Church there on Main Street taking photos of your kiddos in their 2010 Halloween attire!
Cost is $5 per child or 3 or more kiddos for $10.
Everyone is welcome, adults, kids, teens, infants, pets, groups of friends, families. ANYONE!
I will have a Halloween prop set up and the kids will get a bag of candy and each bag will contain a coupon Varying from 5% off-FREE! I will get the photos taken that friday and by monday will have all of them ready for you to view. You can then order as many prints as you want from me.
Prints are $5 per 8x10 sheet (This includes and prints that fit on an 8x10 sheet)
Dont miss out and please invite all your friends!

Super Speed Sessions....Themed!
I am so excited to start offering Themed Super Speed Sessions! I think this is going to be so stinkin fun I can not hardley wait!!!
What I am doing is each week will be a different theme of Session...the sessions are going to be $20, you come in your attire (this week is football so you would come with whatever football fan apperal you have, jersey, hat, leggins, ect...) I take 30-45 min worth of shots of you with the props I have supplied. You pick your favorite 3 photos and I will order you an 8x10 Sheet of each FREE!
I also am offering the THEME PACKAGE...You get to pick 6 themes....thats one every 2 months through the year...for $100 you get to pick the themes and at the end of your 6 themes you will get a custom made photo collage of all of the best photos from the 6 sessions.
Like I mentioned this week is FOOTBALL! (September 27-October 3) - Come in your best football fan attire. we will take photos on the football field, Anyone is welcome, pets, families, infants to teens, parents to grandparents or all of the above toghether.
October 3- Oct 9 - Fall-harvest Sessions I will have a scarecrow, colorful gourds, pumpkins, leaves and pretty fall colored props....photos will be taken in front of a corn field.
Oct 10-Oct 16- Pets - Bring the family in for photos with the favorite pets....Photos are taken close to the river for some fun pet environments. All proceedes from this weeks sessions will go to ASPCA. The person with the most unusual pet will win a free $50 photo session voucher for future photos!
Oct 17 - Oct 23- Out on the Farm Session - Photos will be taken with a tractor, in front of hay bales with choice of several farm animals...Location to be announced
Oct 24 - Oct 30 - Halloween Costume Special - Bring the family down for photos in your super fun cute or scary halloween costumes. Photos will be taken at pioneer park and I will have Jack-o-lanterns, candy and lots of halloween props for you to pose with!
I will post on here at the beginning of each month the sessions for the month so that you can choose and reserve your time accordingly!
Also if you have any themes you think would make great photo sessions, please email them to me with a brief description of what you are thinking for props, ideas ect...if I decide to use your theme you get a session FREE!

Family Time
Well I made it to Texas...10 hours on the road with 3 adults, 4 kids and a whole lot of luggage! We made it though, and have been having a blast since we got here. I came with my 2 youngest kiddos and the reason for coming...
1.) To see the puppies(11 great dane pups is too much to pass up!)
2.) To take around 25 photo shoots of different families and a few senior sessions.
Here are a few pictures from the first shoot. We had a blast and this family was so open to anything. It was in Amarillo TX at a Thompson Park and then we went too a place called The Zachery Building and found a well painted up wall that the boys seemed to like taking pictures at! Everyone let me know what you think!!!
